Dewan Internship Program
Dewan Architects & Engineers has been leading the evolution of the Middle East’s booming architectural and engineering design sector for almost three decades. Its founder and current Chairman and Managing Director, Mohamed Al Assam, established the inaugural Dewan office in Abu Dhabi in 1984 and successfully completed Dewan’s first high-rise commercial project, Baniyas Tower, in 1988, which cemented Dewan’s presence as a major player in the regional architectural scene.
In 1999, Dewan’s Dubai design studio was launched and it has rapidly become a prominent and integral contributor to the emirate’s burgeoning and iconic skyline. Dewan further entrenched its leadership market position by establishing new offices in Iraq, Libya, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Philippines, and Qatar. Today Dewan is recognised as a global multi disciplinary practice and is ranked as one of the top three firms regionally, and in the top 50 firms globally as rated by leading industry publications and its peers.
Dewan Architects and Engineers is one of the first supporters and sponsors of Tamayouz Excellence Award, Mr Mohammed Al-Assam the CEO of Dewan, is a strong supporter of Tamayouz and its mission.
Dewan’s Internship Program offers the winners of the Second and Third place of Tamayouz Iraqi students category a paid 2 Month Internship (5000 AED/Month) and covering the cost of accommodation.
Dewan’s generous sponsorship of Tamayouz Excellence Award in 10 years has thus far amounted to 23 student internships, 60 months of experience and more than $160K invested in the training of young architects and more to come.
Internship Conditions:
– The Intern is required to obtain the visa after receiving the contacting Tamayouz and informing them of the preferred start date for the internship.
– The intern is required to search for a suitable accommodation before arrival within the specified accommodation budget (5000 AED) which will be generously funded by Dewan Architects and Engineers.
– Flights to the city of internship office are not included in the sponsorship package.
