Tamayouz Excellence Award has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Manhal Habbobi Consultants to establish a framework for the design and management of a structured professional internship programme for Iraqi graduates from relevant engineering disciplines.
Under the MoU, Manhal Habbobi Consultants will host the programme, while Tamayouz Excellence Award will oversee organisation and coordination, including the nomination and selection of interns based on their academic merits and results in the Tamayouz Architecture Graduation Projects Award, ensuring transparency and equal opportunity.
The programme will train 30 engineering graduates, including 10 architecture graduates, by providing paid internship placements in professional environments to support skills development and labour-market readiness.
The partnership aims to strengthen the link between academic excellence and professional practice, support the career development of architecture and engineering graduates in Iraq, and enhance collaboration between professional institutions and educational initiatives.
This agreement reaffirms both parties’ commitment to advancing architectural education and supporting academic and professional excellence.
The MoU was signed on behalf of Tamayouz Excellence Award by Ahmed Al Mallak, Founding Director, and on behalf of Manhal Habbobi Consultants by Manhal Habbobi, Founder and Principal Architect.
