TAMAYOUZ SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
Tamayouz’s international scholarship programme enables excellent students from around the world to undertake postgraduate architectural studies at the Milan Polytechnic University in Italy and Coventry University in the United Kingdom, as well as to attend short courses. Funding for these studies comes from Coventry University, The Iraqi Business Council in Jordan and Makiya Kufa – Charity. Two scholarships are given annually.
The Scholarship Awardees
The selection criteria for Tamayouz Scholarship aim to identify high-caliber architecture graduates and the awardees are selected by the Tamayouz Judging Panel after submitting their graduation projects to our Local and International Graduation Awards.

Scholarship Conditions
1. The winner must apply for the MSC course at the university and receive an “Unconditional Acceptance Letter”.
2. The Tamayouz scholarship does not cover application fee and visa fees, flights, accommodation, or living expenses during the duration of the study.
3. The winner must fulfil admission requirements of the university, such as presenting an honours degree equivalent to a 2.2 or above in an appropriate discipline and meeting the minimum English language requirements for the course.
4. The student is required to obtain the study visa after receiving the unconditional offer from the university and then the sponsor pays the tuition fees.
5. The winner can start the application process once the winner’s name is announced, and he/she will have the remaining year to sort out the English language requirements, acceptance and visa.
6. If the winner of the scholarship is a group entry or a joint winner, the value of the scholarship will be split evenly between the winners upon payment of tuition fees and not given to the winners in cash.
7. This scholarship covers the university tuition fees only. The fees are not paid in cash, but paid directly to the university. This scholarship cannot be transferred to another person in the case that the winner decides to not accept this opportunity.
8. The scholarship will not be given in cash instead of a scholarship.
9. Winning Tamayouz Excellence Award does not guarantee acceptance from the university. The winner will have to go through the standard application process.
10. If the student does not start their MSc courses within one year from the date of the winners announcement, they automatically forfeit their claim to the funding.
11. No alternative prize is given to the students if they failed to get accepted at the University within 12 months.

2016 - 2018 Stadslab - Tamayouz Scholarship fund Stadslab
STADSLAB is the postgraduate programme of the Academy of Architecture and Urbanism, School of Fine and Performing Arts (FHK) and part of Fontys University of Applied Sciences. Fontys is one of the largest Universities of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, with nearly 40,000 students in 40 Faculties. The Academy is based in Tilburg, a modern city in the southern part of the Netherlands.
In 2016 and 2017 Stadslab and Tamayouz Award ran a scholarship fund for the 2nd and 3rd prize winners of Tamayouz International to join Stadslab's masterclasses. The fund scholarship for the Stadslab masterclass of choice + flight + accommodation cost.
The objective of the scholarship is to provide an experience for the winners where professionals and academia would meet to exchange knowledge and know-how, while addressing real time cases proposed by our hosting cities

Tamayouz Travel Scholarship
Tamayouz offers a $1500 travel scholarship to the second and third place winners of the International Graduation Projects Award. This scholarship intends to cover the travel and accommodation costs for the winners to attend the annual ceremony, as well as to participate in the annual design workshop, which is held during the week following the ceremony. The winners of the travel scholarship are determined by the Tamayouz Jury Panel.
