Tamayouz Excellence Award and the Department of Antiquities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation and consolidating the partnership between the two parties, while opening new avenues for collaboration in the fields of architecture, design, and heritage. The partnership seeks to support the development of initiatives and projects with both local and international impact.
The MoU includes cooperation in developing and launching an architectural design competition for the Ain Ghazal archaeological site, with the aim of exploring innovative design ideas and visions for the site. Tamayouz Excellence Award will organise and manage the competition, with the participation of a distinguished jury comprising leading experts and specialists in architecture, design, and heritage.
The signing took place at the headquarters of the Department of Antiquities in Amman. Tamayouz Excellence Award was represented by its Middle East and North Africa Coordinator, Ossaid Moh’d Majid Aleitan, while the Department of Antiquities was represented by its Director General, His Excellency Professor Fawzi Qassem Abu Danneh.
This partnership highlights the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors in supporting projects and initiatives that contribute to the development of the architectural and cultural landscape. The collaboration with the Department of Antiquities further reflects the confidence placed by government institutions in Tamayouz Excellence Award and its expertise in managing architectural and design competitions in accordance with professional and international standards.
