The Rifat Chadirji Prize for Architecture is a biennial competition promoting worldwide innovation by generating design ideas to address the Arab world’s most urgent social and urban challenges.

Students of Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, and Landscape Design worldwide are invited to register and submit their Graduation Projects with enthusiasm and anticipation.

Also called the Mohamed Makiya Prize for Architecture, awarded to individuals or organisations contributing directly or indirectly to advancing architecture in the Middle East.

The Women in Architecture and Construction Award aims to recognise and celebrate women who have contributed to the built environment throughout NENA region.

Celebrates the achievements of individuals who have made significant contributions towards humanity and the advancement of architecture and the built environment.

The Special Recognition Award aims to celebrate and recognise contributions towards humanity and architecture, it is presented to individuals or organisations.

MEET OUR FINALISTS: WOMEN IN ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION 2024 – HANA ALAMUDDIN

Hana Alamuddin, Principal of Almimariya Architects, who has over 25 years of experience in sustainable architecture, urban design, and landscape projects. After completing her studies in the UK and the US, Hana returned to Lebanon to contribute to post-war reconstruction efforts, focusing on heritage preservation and environmental sustainability. Her award-winning projects reflect a commitment to cultural identity and placemaking, and she continues to inspire future architects through her teaching at the American University of Beirut.

يسُر جائزة تميُز الإعلان عن القائمة القصيرة للمرشحين النهائيين لجائزة الشخصية المعمارية الشرق أوسطية لعام 2024، جائزة محمد مكية للعمارة، التي تُمنح للأفراد والمنظمات. وقد ضمت دورة هذا العام مرشحين من 12 دولة تم اختيار ثلاثة مرشحين في القائمة القصيرة التي ضمت أفرادا وشخصيات اعتبارية من فلسطين ولبنان والمملكة العربية السعودية.
